Due to Environment Agency public advice and Met Office warnings being in effect for most of the UK over the next 24 to 48 hours we have activated our Customer Business Continuity Support (CBCS) plan to provide assistance to customers affected by adverse weather conditions over the next few days.
For those not aware of this plan, this means that if you are an O’Brien Media customer for website hosting, website support, or any other service (with an active customer account) we will make changes to your website free of charge should you need to add alternate contact information, notify customers of store of office closures, or any other content changes in relation to flooding or other effects of the forecast adverse weather conditions.
As of 23:30 30th September, our Customer Business Continuity Support facility is in effect. We expect this to continue through Tuesday 1st November to 23:59 on Thursday 3rd October.
The facility will be reviewed on Thursday based on warnings in effect from the Environment Agency and the Met Office ahead of the possibility of additional adverse weather conditions brought by the remnants of Hurricane Lorenzo.
