Purity Muringi has spent 25 years in the catering industry. She knows food, she knows her customers, and she knows how to run an event. What she didn’t have was a website. Not because she hadn’t thought about it. She had. She’d just been putting it off for years.
When Purity got in touch with us in January 2026, she was refreshingly honest about it. “I’m really desperate for a website,” she told us. “I’ve been procrastinating for years.” That kind of honesty makes our job easier, and it told us straight away that what Purity needed wasn’t just a website. She needed someone to make the whole process feel straightforward.
Two Businesses, One Brief
Purity runs two brands out of Swindon. Purity Mobile Pizza brings a pizza and burger trailer to birthdays, weddings, festivals, and pop-up events. Purity Catering Services covers larger event catering across a wide range of cuisines, from East Asian to Mediterranean to British and African.
She wanted both brands to sit on one website, giving her customers a single place to find out what she offers and decide which service fits their event. It was a sensible approach, and it meant we could build something that felt cohesive while keeping each brand clear in its own right.
Getting the Design Right
We started with the Purity Mobile Pizza brand, building out the homepage and menu pages on a development site while content from the catering side of the business was gathered.
Colour was an early conversation. The mobile pizza logo used blue, but Purity felt the site needed something bolder. She had always had red in mind, and after sharing the development site with a few people and gathering some early feedback, the direction became clear. We moved to a strong tomato red that matched both the energy of the food and the warmth of the brand.
The design stayed clean throughout. Purity’s brief was simple and classy, and we kept that at the front of every decision we made.
Solving the Photography Problem
Purity was upfront about one practical challenge. She is not someone who photographs her work. She attends events, cooks, serves, and moves on. That is completely understandable for anyone running a busy catering operation, but it meant we had very little original photography to work with.
We solved this with AI-generated food photography. We trained the image generation on Purity’s own photos and descriptions so that the results felt specific to her food and her style, rather than generic stock images. The finished photos show handmade pizza, stacked burgers with locally sourced ingredients, and the kinds of spreads Purity’s customers actually order.
The real photos Purity takes are used on her social media, which works well. The two channels complement each other rather than competing.
Building the Menus
The menu pages were one of the most involved parts of the build. Purity’s offering covers a lot of ground, from birthday party pizza and wings packages through to smashed burgers, posh hot dogs, and loaded chips in multiple styles, alongside a personalised wedding and events menu.
We worked from photos of printed menus and flyers, using AI to extract the content and then formatting everything clearly for the website. Along the way we spotted and corrected a number of small errors in the source materials, which Purity was glad to have picked up before the site went live.
Each menu page was reviewed and refined through a back-and-forth with Purity, who was clear and decisive about what she wanted changed. That responsiveness made the process quick and the end result accurate.
Going Live
By April 2026, the Purity Mobile Pizza site was ready. Purity reviewed it, confirmed she was happy, and we moved everything across to the live address at puritymobilepizza.co.uk. The contact form and email forwarding were both set up and tested.
We also registered puritycatering.co.uk alongside it, so both brand addresses are now active and owned by Purity.
To help her start sharing straight away, we put together a set of device mockups showing the website on MacBooks and iPhones, across a range of styles and backgrounds. They are ready to download and post to social media.

The Purity Catering side of the site is in progress, with the core structure already in place and content being added as it comes through.
