Upgrade macOS to access new Microsoft 365 for Mac updates

As of the Microsoft 365 for Mac, November 2020 update, macOS 10.14 Mojave or later is required to receive updates to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. If you continue with an older version of macOS, your Office apps will continue to work but you will no longer receive any updates including security updates.

Bing Webmaster Tools to be fully revamped by July

Microsoft: Co-editor chat directly from documents to be retired

Microsoft have announced that the ability to initiate a Chat directly with a co-editor of a Word, Excel, PowerPoint document will be retired over several weeks beginning mid-April (across the web, Windows and Mac versions of Office).

The new Microsoft Edge is out of preview and available for download

This week, at Ignite, Microsoft unveiled their new vision for the web and search, a colorful new icon, and outlined how they see Microsoft Edge + Bing as the browser and search engine for business. The new Microsoft Edge is now available to download on all supported versions of Windows and macOS in more than 90 languages. Microsoft Edge is also available on iOS and Android, providing a true cross-platform experience.

The new Outlook on the web is coming, with a modern design, and new features

Microsoft may have been one of the first movers when they acquired Hotmail back in the 1990s, eventually renaming it to Outlook.com after a brief diversion to Windows Live. It’s been updated yet again, with Outlook.com switching to a new look this week after a period of testing and Office 365 Outlook on the web users being given the new look from July 22nd.

Microsoft are adding suggested replies to Outlook for Android

Microsoft is rolling out some updates to its Outlook mail app for Android which will include additional intelligent technology in Outlook for Android with suggested replies so you can quickly respond to an email with short, relevant responses to email messages.
