How to Add O’Brien Media as a Team Member on Memberstack

If we are building or supporting a membership site that uses Memberstack, we need access to your Memberstack account so we can set up and test plans, members and the connection to your website. The way to do this is to add us as a team member on your account. This lets us log in with our own details, so you never need to share your password. The email address to add is:

[email protected]

You need to be the account owner, or an admin, to add people.

Before you start

Memberstack may only let you invite someone who already has a Memberstack login. If you let us know before you send the invitation, we will make sure there is a login for this address first, so the invitation works first time.

How to add us

1. Log in to your Memberstack dashboard.
2. Choose the right app, if you have more than one, from the menu at the top left.
3. Open the Team (or Team Members) page. It is usually in the account or settings area. Menu names can change slightly over time.
4. Choose the button to add or invite a team member. In Memberstack this is currently called Add Admin.
5. Enter [email protected] as the email address. Please type or copy it exactly.
6. Confirm the invitation.

Let us know when you have sent it and we will confirm that we can see your account.

What access this gives us

Memberstack currently offers team members at the admin level, so there is not a separate developer role to choose, and we will have access to the account settings, plans and members. We will only work on what we have agreed with you. If Memberstack has added a more limited team role by the time you read this, such as view only, please choose the most limited one that lets us do what we have agreed to do, and tell us which you chose.

Good to know

• We will never ask you for your Memberstack password or the login details of your members.
• Your members’ details are personal data. We will only use them to set up, test and support your site, and our Privacy Policy explains how we look after information.
• Only you, as the account owner or an admin, can change who has access to your account.
• If we need anything else from your Memberstack account, we will tell you exactly what and why.

Removing our access

When we have finished, you can remove us at any time. Open the same Team page in Memberstack, find [email protected] in the list and remove us. If you would like us to stay on to look after your site for you, there is nothing more to do.
