We built SAPAC’s new website using the popular WordPress CMS (content management system) and imported the content from their previous Drupal based website. Content management on the new website was streamlined, and content types merged, to allow easier management of website pages by volunteers while retaining a consistent look across the website.

SAPAC (South Asian Performing Arts Centre) are a Swindon based community group whose aim is to inspire the people of Swindon to appreciate and enjoy diversity in culture by offering quality performances by professional artists in classic, folk and contemporary music, dance and theatre.
We began working with SAPAC in 2013, when we designed and built their first website. Fast-forward to July 2017 and SAPAC felt that a new website, taking advantage of advances in technology and website design styles, was in order.
We built SAPAC’s new website using the popular WordPress CMS (content management system) and imported the content from their previous Drupal based website. Content management on the new website was streamlined, and content types merged, to allow easier management of website pages by volunteers while retaining a consistent look across the website.
The website design and style was brought up to date, using responsive and mobile-friendly techniques to improve the accessibility and user-friendliness of the website while retaining the existing colour scheme and overall feel of the site, which was popular among visitors.
The website was completed within a matter of weeks and the project stayed within budget with all communication regarding the project taking place via email to accommodate the busy schedules of SAPAC’s management committee.
