Disability Confident is creating a movement of change, encouraging employers to think differently about disability and take action to improve how they recruit, retain and develop employees with disabilities.
Being Disability Confident is a unique opportunity to lead the way in your community. By giving people a chance to shine, you could discover someone who becomes indispensable to your business, like we have!
It was developed by employers and disabled people’s representatives to make it rigorous but easily accessible, particularly for smaller businesses.
There are three different levels to the scheme – Committed, Employer and Leader.
The joy of the Disability Confident Scheme is that it is in partnership with other employers and that employers of any size can sign up!
