We were approached by Steve Costello, of Swindon computer repair and recycling business Fixed Locally, to develop an easy to use fully responsive website for his new business venture.Visit Fixed Locally
Website design project key facts
Project team Chris Grant - Head of Design & Development
We created an easy to manage WordPress based website, based around a single page structure for the homepage containing sections for the essential information about Fixed Locally and their computer repair and computer recycling facilities. The homepage also contains a contact form and easy to update pricing information.
Additional pages can be added as Fixed Locally expand and reusable content elements such as the contact form and pricing information can be embedded easily in newly created pages.
The project had a very tight deadline, of 10 days, and so WordPress and our set of add-on plugins, developed in-house to assist in the quick development and deployment of new websites were used to allow a first version of the site to be accessible to Steve within 24 hours of the start of the project.
In the words of Steve Costello, Fixed Locally
When I needed a website for a new business project I didn't even consider other designers. Chris always responds instantly to any of my requests for changes, updates or complete new sites. His work is always first rate and brings in exactly the business I target. Why would I go elsewhere?
The day after I contacted Chris he had acquired the new domain and a very polished new website was up and running. Over the next few days, through an exchange of emails, all my finicky ideas and revisions were dealt with and new customer enquiries were already incoming.
If I was asked why I would recommend Chris before other designers my main reasons would be:
- Ease of contact
- Understanding of clients requirements
- Response time
- Value for money
- Ability to target a specific customer group
- Experience in a huge range of businesses
