Hi there,

As I’m sure you may have been, I’ve been up past midnight reviewing the latest Government advice announced last night relating to which businesses should now close and which can remain open. For the most part, it’s bad news but I’ll summarise the good news that doesn’t seem to have been covered by the BBC, Sky, or ITV:

  • Online stores can remain operational and are encouraged to do so. Delivery and postal networks will remain operational to support online retail.
  • Pubs, restaurants, and cafes will be subject to changes in planning law to allow them to operate takeaway and delivery services if they don’t already do so.

I’ve posted a blog post here with some more information on the above with links to the Government Advice on GOV.UK, which is worth taking a look at if you’re unsure of your next steps.

We (Dan, Andy, and I) are literally working night and day to keep up with the ever-changing situation and supporting our customers however we can. If we can help your business in any way just let us know.

Best wishes,
