30th October 2017 at 02:00 – We have completed the migration of website and email data from server3 to server5. All customers with websites and email services previously hosted on server3 should follow the instructions below to update email software.
You can find your email settings within the Products and Services section of Client Connect.
25th October 2017 at 21:09 – We are in the process of decommissioning one of our older servers (server3) and moving customer websites over to a new server. This is part of our continual improvement and replacement strategy for our website hosting and email service infrastructure.
If your website is hosted on server3:
If you use your O’Brien Media email service on your smartphone, or via software such as Outlook or Windows Mail:
From Monday 30th October 2017 you will need to make a minor change to your email software settings, to replace the incoming and outgoing servers addresses with “server5.obrienmedia.co.uk” (currently these will be set to “server3.obrienmedia.co.uk”). We will complete the email changeover for your site between 00:00 and 02:00 on Monday morning. There will be no change to your username or password.

If you use our webmail system (webmail.obrienmedia.co.uk)
if you use our webmail service you will not need to make any changes and will continue to access your email accounts as normal via https://webmail.obrienmedia.co.uk using the same username and password as before.
