To make remote support as simple and stress-free as possible, we often use a Windows tool called Microsoft Quick Assist. It lets us securely connect to your computer, see what’s happening on your screen, and guide you through fixes or adjustments in real time — all with your permission.
Most Windows computers already have Quick Assist installed. You can open it by clicking Start and typing Quick Assist into the search bar. If it doesn’t appear, you can download it free from the Microsoft Store by searching for “Quick Assist” and clicking Install.
When it’s time for your remote session, we’ll give you a one-time security code. Just enter the code into Quick Assist and approve the connection. From there, we can help you quickly and directly — and you can end the session at any point.
