How We Helped a Swindon Catering Business Finally Get Online

Business owner Purity has 25 years of catering experience behind her. She runs two brands out of Swindon: Purity Mobile Pizza, a pizza and burger trailer for events, and Purity Catering Services, covering everything from weddings to festivals. What she didn’t have was a website.

When she got in touch, she put it simply. “I’ve been procrastinating for years.”

It’s something we’re familiar with. A lot of brilliant small business owners are great at what they do and just haven’t got around to getting online yet. They rely on word of mouth, social media, or simply being known locally. That works up to a point, but it leaves a gap. Anyone searching online for catering in Swindon won’t find you if you’re not there. That is exactly the kind of problem a well-built website solves, and it is exactly the kind of project we enjoy working on.

Two Businesses, One Site

Purity’s brief was straightforward. She wanted both brands on one website so that customers could land in one place, see everything she offers, and decide what suits their event. Purity Mobile Pizza covers birthday parties, weddings, christenings, and pop-up events with a pizza and burger trailer in Swindon. Purity Catering Services goes further, covering corporate events, festivals, garden parties, and larger gatherings across a range of cuisines including East Asian, African, Mediterranean, and British.

Bringing both under one roof made sense. It gives visitors a fuller picture of what Purity does, and it means she only has one website to manage and promote.

Design, Photography, and Getting the Details Right

We built the site around a clean, bold design with a strong red running through it. Purity had a clear eye for what she wanted: simple, classy, and nothing that felt generic. Colour was an early discussion. The original mobile pizza logo used blue, but after sharing the development site with a few people Purity felt something warmer and more confident would suit the brand better. We moved to a tomato red and the feedback was immediate.

Photography was a practical challenge. Purity doesn’t photograph her work at events. She’s too busy cooking and serving. We solved this with AI-generated food photography, trained on her own images and menu descriptions so the results looked like her food, not a stock photo library. The real photos she does take work well on social media alongside the polished website images.

The menu pages took the most time. Purity’s offering is broad, from birthday pizza and wings packages through to smashed burgers, posh hot dogs, loaded chips in several styles, and personalised menus for weddings and larger events. We built those pages from photos of printed flyers, extracted the content using AI, and worked through several rounds of review with Purity to make sure everything was accurate. Along the way we caught a number of small errors in the source materials before they made it onto the live site.

Going Live

The site is now live at puritymobilepizza.co.uk. We also registered puritycatering.co.uk so both brand addresses are owned and active. The contact form was set up and tested, email forwarding was pointed to Purity’s existing address, and we handed over a pack of device mockups for her to use on social media straight away.

The Purity Catering side of the site is in progress, with the structure already in place and content being added as it comes through.

What Purity Said

“It looks great. Now we can start sharing.”

That is the goal every time.
