A Fresh New Design For Manor Solutions’ Website

Back in 2007 we were commissioned to design a new website for one of Swindon’s oldest PC and Laptop repair specialists, Manor Solutions.

Based in Cheney Manor, Manor Solutions had found that their existing website no longer offered the flexibility they needed to be able to effectively showcase their range of refurbished laptop and desktop computers which can change on a daily basis.

The old site required a web page to be edited for each new computer and a specification page to be created and uploaded to their site.  The replacement included a secure page for staff to add, remove and update stock that would instantly be reflected on the website.

With the latest re-design we’ve gone a few steps further. Stock is now managed through Manor Solutions‘ repair management system (based on WorkWise Portal from O’Brien Media) and also updates their Twitter account when new computers are added to the site.

The new site offers even more information on the range of PC and laptop repair services offered by Manor Solutionsand is built upon the Drupal content management system. Drupal allows for content to be placed into ‘blocks’ that can be replicated on multiple pages and switched on and off as required with no web design or programming skills required allowing staff to keep the site fresh with minimal time and virtually no effort!
