Why we love Elementor!

Here at O’Brien Media, we use Elementor to help build our websites. The ease of use allows users to make their own changes to their website, which is something that is really important to us!

This blog post will go through some of the reasons (there is a lot!) why we think Elementor is awesome and why you should too!

Drag and Drop Editor

With Elementor, the great visual Drag and Drop Editor is an amazing benefit. This means that you do not need to write any code and can easily find the elements that you are looking for. Not only is it an easy experience, but it also makes the process fun and stress-free!

Live Editing

This feature allows you to view each element added/taken away and every change that is made. This means that you are able to see instantly in real-time how the changes you make affect the way your website looks!

Fast

Elementor is fast and instant. This ensures that as well as seeing instant changes, you save time in building your website. This means that you never have to worry about setting aside long hours to make website changes!

100% responsive

Elementor has a mobile view that you can change to one click. This ensures that you are able to see how your website will look on different devices and ensure that all your users have a good experience.

There is custom font size and spacing which allows you to set device-specific sizes and padding. There is also mobile visibility where you can hide sections and widgets from appearing on certain devices.

Revision History

Have you ever had a time where you’ve made a change that wasn’t quite right?

Every time a page is updated, a revision is created. This means that you can always go back to a previous version. This is particularly useful when you have made a mistake on a page and you need to step back.

Auto Save, Redo & Undo

When you make changes in Elementor, your work is saved automatically. This means that you do not lose any of the hard work you have done in case there is an issue.

Don’t worry if you do not like the changes, there is always the option of the Undo and Redo buttons to get rid of any mistakes (as well as revision history)!

Edit in Draft Mode

The draft mode feature means that only you can see the changes you make before you decide to publish them. The current, separate published version of the site will remain online, so that the experience of users is uninterrupted!

Copy Paste & Copy Style

If you have created the perfect element that you need to use on another page, you can easily Copy Paste. This can either be on a different place on the page or on an entirely different page on the site!

If you’ve styled the perfect widget, column, or section, then Copy Style will be able to help here. By copying just the styling, you can ensure that your page design easily remains consistent.
