It’s official YouTube now lets you play videos on repeat – YouTube has added the much-needed feature for those who get (or want to get) one song stuck in their head. The new loop feature, however, is only available for YouTube users on the desktop version of YouTube.com and currently isn’t supported for mobile and app users.
Chromecast users will also be disappointed as it appears that the loop feature is still lacking from the Chromecast video player on YouTube.com.
Turning on the video looping feature on the YouTube desktop site is easy enough. You just need to open a video, right click on the video player and select the Loop option.
Before the roll-out of the new loop feature, YouTube users had to visit websites like ListenOnRepeat or use a browser extension like Looper for YouTube to play videos on repeat.
