Your use of the services we provide you with means that you accept, and agree to abide by, all the policies in this acceptable use policy, which are incorporated into our Website Hosting Service Agreement. You must comply with the spirit of this acceptable use policy as well as the letter.

1. Lawful Purposes Only: Your website and use of our services must only be for lawful purposes. You must not submit, publish, or display any content that breaches any laws, statutes, or regulations.

Prohibited Activities

2. No Spam: You must not use our services or your website to send unsolicited commercial emails or “spam”, or any similar abuse. O’Brien Media has the right to decide what constitutes “spam” and can terminate or suspend services without notice if you ignore this policy.

3. Electronic Messaging Abuse: You must not send emails or electronic messages, or engage in actions, intended to affect the performance of any computer facilities.

4. Prohibited Content: You must not publish, post, distribute, or share defamatory, obscene, indecent, or other unlawful material or information. This includes any content that infringes intellectual property rights, such as licensed software shared as Warez.

5. Respecting Others: You must not threaten, abuse, disrupt, or violate the rights (including privacy and publicity rights) of others.

6. Illegal Activities: You must not engage in illegal or unlawful activities through our services or via your website.

7. Malicious Files: You must not upload files to your website or our services that contain a virus, worm, trojan, malware, or corrupt data.

8. Restricted Access: You must not try to access areas of O’Brien Media’s network or services that are restricted or confidential. This includes leaving your home directory or accessing files outside your home directory when using SSH, FTP, or SFTP access to servers.

9. Server Processes: You must not operate or attempt to operate IRC bots, cryptocurrency mining, or other permanent server processes.

Responsibility for Content

10. Content Responsibility: You are fully responsible for the content on your website. O’Brien Media is not required to monitor, and will not be liable for, the content of any communications transmitted via our services.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

11. Service Withdrawal: If you fail to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy, O’Brien Media has the right to withdraw our services and terminate your account without notice.
